These terms cover how the website and the installation service work. Using the site or accepting a quotation means you agree to the terms below.
1. About us
Solar Installation Lahore is a solar installation business based at Mohni Road, Mughalpura, Lahore. Eleven years of work in the Lahore market, led by Abu Bakar (CEO). The website at solarinstallationlahore.com is operated by the same team.
2. Quotations
- Quotations sent by WhatsApp, email, or written form are valid for the period stated on each quotation (default seven days).
- Prices reflect the market on the day the quote is issued. Panel, inverter, and battery prices in Pakistan move with USD rates and import duties. If the order is not confirmed within the validity period, a fresh quote is needed.
- An advance payment of 50 percent is required to confirm the order and lock the prices. The remaining 40 percent is paid before installation begins, and the final 10 percent at commissioning and handover.
3. Free site survey
The first site visit costs PKR 3,000. The full PKR 3,000 is adjusted in the final installation bill if you proceed with us. If you decide not to install, the PKR 3,000 covers the surveyor's time and travel and is non-refundable. The fee, conditions, and what the surveyor checks are sent on WhatsApp before the visit.
4. Installation timeline
Standard residential installs take 5 to 7 working days from the date the advance payment is received. Delays caused by LESCO meter swap, rain, or shortage of a specific component are communicated as soon as we know about them. We do not charge waiting fees for delays on our side.
5. Warranties
- Solar panels: 25-year linear performance warranty from the manufacturer.
- Inverter: 5-year standard warranty from the manufacturer, sometimes extendable to 10 years on request.
- Lithium battery: 5-year warranty from the manufacturer.
- Tubular battery: 12 to 18 months from the manufacturer, varies by brand.
- Workmanship: 5 years from commissioning, covering installation faults, loose connections, and mounting failures.
Warranty claims are handled directly through us. We deal with the manufacturer on your behalf.
6. What is not covered
- Damage caused by storms, floods, theft, fire, or accidents not related to installation work.
- Damage caused by third parties modifying the system without our involvement.
- Performance loss caused by trees grown after installation, new buildings shading the array, or owner-caused dust buildup with no cleaning service in place.
- Civil work, roof water-proofing, and modifications to the building itself are not included in standard installation quotes.
7. Net metering
LESCO net metering paperwork is filed by us as part of the on-grid and hybrid installation packages. Government fee charged by LESCO is billed at actual and is your cost. Net metering approval usually takes 4 to 8 weeks after installation; this depends on LESCO and we cannot guarantee a specific date.
8. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancellation before any equipment is procured: full refund of the advance, minus PKR 3,000 site visit fee and any actual costs already incurred.
- Cancellation after panels, inverter, or battery have been booked: the advance covers the supplier's commitment; any unrecoverable portion is deducted, the rest is refunded within 14 working days.
- Cancellation after installation begins: the work done is billed pro-rata, balance refunded.
9. Liability
Our maximum liability for any single project is the total value of that project's quotation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as electricity bill savings not materializing due to LESCO tariff changes, your usage pattern changing, or net metering policy revisions by the government.
10. Website use
Content on this website (articles, calculator, photos) is provided for information. The solar savings calculator gives an estimate and is not a guarantee of actual savings. The articles reflect our experience as installers and are not formal engineering advice for your specific site. A site survey is the only way to give exact numbers for your house or business.
11. Intellectual property
Articles, photos of our installations, and the calculator code belong to Solar Installation Lahore. You may quote a paragraph with a link back. Republishing full articles or photos without permission is not allowed.
12. Changes
Material changes to these terms are reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top and posted on the homepage for seven days. Continuing to use the site or accept a new quote after a change means you agree to the new terms.
13. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes are settled in the courts of Lahore.
